Since July 17, there has been continuous heavy rainfall in many places in Henan. The data show that the daily rainfall in Zhengzhou and other places has reached an extreme value since the establishment of the station, resulting in large-scale urban waterlogging, which has a great impact on people's production and life. After the occurrence of flood disaster, various infectious diseases are prone to occur due to the deterioration of drinking water and diet sanitation, environmental pollution, the breeding of disease vectors, the increase of population contact opportunities and the decline of resistance. How should people do a good job in personal health protection to prevent post disaster epidemic? Henan CDC now gives the following tips on post flood health and disease prevention:
1. Pay attention to drinking water sanitation
Do not drink raw water, but only boiled water or bottled water and barreled water meeting hygienic standards; The water filling appliance shall be kept clean and often emptied for cleaning; Temporary drinking well water, river water, lake water and pond water shall be disinfected; Water with high turbidity and serious pollution must be clarified with alum before disinfection; Disinfectants for drinking water (bleach tablets and disinfectant effervescent tablets) should be stored in a dark, dry and cool place (e.g. tightening the bottle cap with a brown bottle). After the tap water pipe or faucet is polluted, it shall be cleaned and disinfected. The inner wall of the disinfection pipeline can be washed with chlorine disinfectant or the outer surface can be wiped.
2. Pay attention to food hygiene
The food should be cooked thoroughly, the raw and cooked food should be separated, the tableware should be cleaned and disinfected before use, and wash hands before eating; Do not eat food that is rotten or soaked by flood; Do not eat drowned or dead livestock and aquatic products; Do not eat leftovers, raw and cold food; Buy food in the formal market.
3. Pay attention to environmental sanitation
The indoor and outdoor environment shall be thoroughly cleaned, cleaned first, then disinfected, and then relocated. Remove ponding, sludge, garbage and sundries; Open doors and windows, ventilate, clean furniture, clean indoor articles, and disinfect the walls and floors of the room if necessary; Renovate toilets, clean toilets and repair livestock pens. Do not litter or urinate in designated areas.
4. Vector biological control
Screen doors, screen windows, mosquito nets and other anti mosquito and fly facilities can be installed at home; It is recommended to use household mosquito control measures such as fly swatter, mosquito repellent incense and aerosol tank; Flood fighting personnel on duty shall be equipped with anti mosquito hats, wear long sleeved clothes and trousers, and the exposed parts can be sprayed with repellent. Efficient and safe anticoagulant rodenticide shall be used to kill rats; After deratization, search for dead rats in time and bury them intensively or burn them; In case of death or migration of flood rats, the parasites on the body surface will escape or escape. In case of deratization, insecticide shall be sprayed at the residential resettlement site to eliminate the free fleas and other parasites leaving the rats, and do a good job of deratization. In case of abnormal increase of mosquitoes, flies, mice and other vector organisms, it shall be reported to the local government department in time.
5. Avoid contact with infected water
In case of local water-borne infectious diseases, contact with epidemic water shall be avoided. If it is necessary to enter the water, protection shall be done before contact with epidemic water: apply protective ointment on the parts that may contact epidemic water; On the premise of preventing high temperature heatstroke, you can wear protective articles, such as rubber boots, rubber gloves, Rubber Pants, etc.
6. Pay attention to personal hygiene
Keep your hands clean without rubbing your eyes with your hands, especially dirty hands; Do not mix towels and washbasin. If you have to share the washbasin with patients with acute hemorrhagic conjunctivitis (commonly known as red eye disease), let healthy people use it first, patients use it later, wash the washbasin after use, and soak it with disinfectant; More ventilation, minimize gathering, do not have meals, and wear masks in crowded and closed places.
7. Prevention of skin diseases
Keep the skin clean and dry as far as possible. If possible, apply prickly heat powder on the wrinkled part of the skin; If you need to work in the water, you can rest every 1 ~ 2 hours and dry your hands and feet in time; In case of skin ulceration and aggravating trend, try not to go into the water temporarily. If possible, wear long boots; Patients with skin diseases should not enter the water as much as possible.
8. See a doctor in time if you are ill
If you feel unwell during the flood disaster, please see a doctor in time, especially in case of fever, diarrhea, vomiting, cough, rash, jaundice and other symptoms, seek medical help as soon as possible. When seeking medical treatment, pay attention to personal protection and avoid taking public transport.
9. Maintain mental health
Acute stress reaction is easy to occur after disaster, and most of them are significantly relieved within 30 days. Maintain a positive mental state and good life law. If it has not recovered for more than one month, consult a psychiatrist or psychological crisis intervention institution in time.
10. Special population nursing
Try to create a better environment for the elderly, the weak, the young and the patients to reduce disability and death.
